Let the family of three begins: Part 3

Right after Hubby's work, we immediately paid our third visit to the gynae. Thank God, everything went smoothly~

Our little precious is now 1.94cm long! And it already has its heartbeat! Words could not explain our excitement as we heard the beating sounds! Could not wait for the next visit two weeks later.

Let the family of three begins: part 2

It have been 3 days after my test came back positive. Besides from sore boobs, I felt basically nothing.

Since Hubby and I are leaving for our honeymoon trip the following week, many stupid questions started to appear on my mind. Without wanting to be puzzled, I went with my future sister in law to see a gynae in town, recommended by a doctor friend of mine to reconfirm my pregnancy.

To our surprised, all the preggies were accompanied by their respective husbands besides the two of us. Instantly, we felt so awkward...

As my name was called, we entered the gynae's room. There started our conversation:

Dr: Yes, how can I help you?
Me: I'm here to reconfirm my pregnancy.
Dr: Have you done your test?
Me: Yes, twice. Results came back positive.
Dr: When was your last period?
Me: 3rd.
Dr: 3rd of October?
Me: Yea...
Dr: Just late by one day?!
Me: Yea, cause my period was late, so...
Dr: Your period is accurate huh.
Me: Yea
Dr: Hmm, you couldn't see much if scan now.
Me: I see... Im leaving for Italy for my honeymoon next week. What should I look into?
Dr: For how long?
Me: 2 weeks.
Dr: Okay, lie on the bed.
Me: (puzzled but still follow as instructed.)
Dr: Here, there is it. Quite visible. And everything seems alright. I will give you some...

And there done my first scan.. without its daddy there. However, Daddy revealed his excitement when see his little one! And promised to be there on the next ultrasound!

Cant wait!!!

Let the family of three begins: part 1

Finally, after months of trying, our hard work paid off!

It has been a while since we tried our very best to have you but month after month, disappointment was the only thing what we had.

However, it was yesterday, 1st Nov 2014, Saturday, when something unusual kicked in. It marked the 29th day from my previous menses. It might sound normal to any other women but to me, something was just not right.. In addition, I had experienced sore boobs a week plus ago!

So, just out of curiosity, I went to Guardian to purchase the cheapest pregnancy test. I was actually planning to run the test days later, which is on the coming Friday. However, this itchy me went to run the test on that very night. And the result came back positive! "Oh my Goodness! Am I dreaming? Is it a false positive? Is the kit I used have expired?" I self questioned, a lot and a lot. I told hubby and we were overjoyed on the result but still not fully convinced. I doubted the pregnancy test was accurate so I went to Guardian to buy another kit. This time, more expensive and perhaps, better quality, just to double confirm. And again, the result came back positive!

Wohoo! I was overjoyed and glad to shout here that "I am pregnant!

Unfortunately, that was the day when I came across with an article of ectopic pregnancy, pregnancy outside the womb. Seriously, I could not feel anything yet in my tummy.. "Is that alright?" I puzzled...
